This artwork draws inspiration from the shifting colors of the sunset sky. From deep blues and dark greys to soft pinks, purples, and warm hues of orange and yellow, my goal was to capture the delicate gradient of a rainbow within the simple form of a cube.

The surface—rough, raw, and textured with holes and irregularities—reflects the unnoticed details of the pavement we walk on every day. The clay itself contains various additions, including perlite, molochite, and a blend of oxides to achieve the desired color effects.

Each cube is individually press-molded into a form made from real bricks, ensuring a unique character in every piece.
